Do you guys think a game with such a large print run has any chance of seeing a significant increase in value over the next 5-10 years?
To be honest? No.

The only reason FFVII does is because it was a landmark game that many people have a huge nostalgic attachment to. Even then, you can get a CIB FFVII for $30. FFXII doens't have that going for it. It will still be $5-10 in that many years. Sealed? You'll get something more.

That's not a bad deal at all!

Mjmjr25... I'd love to visit your home sometime. Sounds like a retro gamer's/shoot 'em up fan's heaven! Where in your state to you live? I'm on the northern border, I'm at least within an 8 hour drive I'm sure!

Hit up the wednesday fleamarket.

pretty bleh, since i went late.

but lo and behold one seller still had good things!

Pandemonium, Rage Racer, and oddworld Abes Exodus and Tai Fu for PS1 complete.

JP PSone car adapter (for playing ps in the car!)

Blue N64 Controller

LOST vol 1 dvd (I'm probably one of the few people that didnt join the lost bandwagon. Now I'm gonna see what its all about.)

Reno 911! first season dvd. And Transporter 3

All for $20 bucks!

Then I went through his things again and he sold me a ps1 classic controler for $2.00

Hey, hanging out is actually feasible. Crazy!

Why don't you bring the cabs up north? By the way, is it worth coming down (I assume Duluth. Did I already know that and just forgot?) to look for some retro gaming?

$10 on Craigslist, nearly mint. I've seen it game only at Gamestop a few times but never really knew what it was until now. Basically Donkey Konga for PS2 with a cooler peripheral but the same crappy song list. I don't really know if I got a good deal since prices for games+peripherals are harder to find, but for $10 I'm too much a sucker for plastic instruments to pass it up.

Lol, this was the game back with the old group I used to hang out with, we were all really in to it. I got one and only played it a bit before the group moved on. Mom always hated it as she could hear the drumming but none of the music, so sounded like I was just a mad man hitting things.

Good times if you haven't played it. Super cheap, see the drums all the time at thrift stores, usually missing the sticks though.

CRTGAMER wrote:Great price on your Sony! You might want to buy the power supply chips as backup just in case yours might fail down the road. Both of my KV32HV600 and KV32HS500 which are WEGAs have that Trinitron logo in the top left corner. The Trinitron name has been around for a long time, used for years prior to the WEGA line. I thought all the WEGAs have the Trinitron logo, what model number is your Sony?
I had seen it at one of the goodwill locations I hit up and it was $20, for some reason I passed on that price (still a good price!) Then I went there another day and it was marked down to $15 and I knew I had to load it up right then and there!

Mine says "WEGA" in the top left corner, I looked at the back and it actually says "Trinitron color TV" and the model number is KV-27HS420
A beautiful HD CRT! Sony Support has all kinds of PDF Docs.

A manual for you: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KV27HS420rev.pdf

Pandemonium is a good platformer. Besides the 2nd version, I wonder if it ever got a remake on a newer console?

 Still in the box! I really need to look into the import drum discs, see if they are worth getting.
