I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. On the one hand, I think it's going to be an interesting and weird mash-up. But on the other, I hate the Smash Bros games.

Same here. Has potential for sure, but I don't really care for Sony mascots much... I'm okay with Smash Bros games. For some reason I'm just not getting excited for this though. The fact that PaRappa is in it pretty much makes it a guaranteed buy for me regardless though. Gonna be interesting to see the final roster list. Crossing my fingers that there won't be any DLC characters.

kinda off-topic, but i wish Jump! Ultimate Stars or Jump! Superstars had a NA port. probably would be all the rage on the DS.

The trouble with localizing a game like that would be that it's licensing hell. The rights to all the shows may be held by Bandai alone in Japan, but elsewhere, you would have to pay pretty much every other company that ever touched any of the anime represented in the game during localization.

if this was done back in the original playstation days i think it would work. not sure how it would fair today. Having a hard time thinking of any Playstation exclusive characters that id care to play as. Toro? Polygon Man?

Crash hasn't been PS exclusive for a long time so i doubt he will be in it. And Snake would be highly unlikely. If they used a different name that didn't mention "Playstation" in the title, then the possibilities would be much greater..much like how Smash Brothers isnt called "Super Nintendo Brothers".

Will be interesting to see more as it happens, but my hopes arnt high.
