I would love to get Kings Field on my PSP, along with some of the many PSOne classics they have access to. It puts our store to absolute shame, and I can see no good reason for it. Even the Japanese PSOne titles they do sell here in the USA pale in comparison to all the many titles that they have on their store.

I know, I could mod my PSP, buti would rather just be able to buy them outright.

You don't need to mod your PSP to play Japanese PSN downloadables (or even UMDs). They work without modding.

Just buy a Japanese PSN card and download away. Play-Asia sells them. Simple.

GREAT now this:

Only difference is this may actually get localized.....Seriously someone needs to find a way to hack the 3DS's region lock so we can play all these games without having to buy two systems...

Nintendo could un-region lock it via firmware update. It definitely will not ever happen, but there's still hope.

Like all great philosophers, the greatness of his work will be appreciated after his death (which will probably come while he is on his co-op spy mission with Niode to blow up Sony headquarters)

He got banned for corrupting the youth right?

I'd be shocked if it wasn't localized.

I've been living without Internet access for nearly two months, that's what's up! Finally have it now, so no more Internet/manga cafes for me.

Anyhow, I did not know that the 3DS was region-locked until I saw this thread. I picked up a recent issue of Famitsu and flipped when I saw the Namco x Sega x Capcom game, plus the new Fire Emblem game (we never got the second FE DS game released in English, so we can probably chalk this new 3DS game up on the list of 3DS software that won't get released in English).

This is exactly why I haven't got a 3DS yet.

More than 99% of my playtime on the DS went to Jump Ultimate Stars - and that '99%' is not an exaggerated figure. I practically lived in that game for at least two years. Only Advance Wars put a dent in that figure.

So yeah, when I heard 3DS wasn't region free - no deal. If the DS had been region locked, it would have been a complete waste of money for me.
