I'm going to try playing Doom64 on Android, seeing that it doesn't have mouse-look. Mapping the N64 layout to a touch-screen is awkward.

I imagine it's not even that great on an N64 controller. Way better with a mouse/keyboard I'm sure.

I wanted to share this screen shot. I can't believe how good this game looks and its from '98!

Has the textures been update or was it like this always? in reviews, the graphics must have been 10/10!

And everything else would be super low I'm guessing. I've heard Blood 2 is very bad, lol.

Judging by the Gamespot page, I'd say you heard wrong.

The Gamespot page also lists the user score and Meta score, which are both in the same range. It looks more like an average game than "very bad."

Who knows, lol. But that's one of my favorite era's of FPS's, so I'll probably check it out sometime myself anyways.

To be honest I'm not even a big fan of the original Blood... I love DN3D and what I played of Shadow Warrior, but Blood is so damn hard it's insane (coming from someone who loves UV Doom action). It's crazy.

Gotta go with Rise of the Triad, because of my nostalgia for it.

Honourable mention to Duke 3D and Shadow Warrior. I also liked Blake Stone, although it's not exactly a Doom clone (as has been pointed out).

Hexen is my pick, as well. I never played the Heretic games, unfortunately, so I don't know how it compares. But I love the fantasy elements in Hexen and the variety of weapons.
