Dreamcast survivor horror/best? worst?

I've been considering selling my GameCube copies of Resident Evil 2 and 3 sometime and replacing them with the Dreamcast versions. Probably the same for Dino Crisis too.

Yes I remember when i was 16 and first got my new dreamcast I poped in code veronica right away and opened my new vmu and wow It was so great how you can see your health bar listed right there i was pretty excited

You should or you can keep those to but the dreamcast versions look way better and are very enhanced!! Also looked drop dead amazing in VGA mode!

Also 7 mansions import!! There is a english translation guide and its way easy to understand and play. Its an amazeing game in fact I would almost say that its he best on the dreamcast next to illbleed.

I own quite a bit of the DC's survival horror collection and have beaten more. It is my preferred version of the RE2 port, because it includes the perks of the PC port on a console. I also own RE3, RE:CV (which is admittedly not my favorite in the series, as that honor goes to RE2 and then the origional), and the Dino Crisis port.

Blue Stinger was enjoyable, though it breaks many survival horror conventions, such as limited health supplies and ammunition.

Carrier I also liked, as it is a decent RE clone.

I own Illbleed, D2, and Alone in the Dark, but I have not spent much time with them, as my DC dislikes my copies. I own the import Nanatsu no Hikan, which was a Japan-only horror title that is a bit obscure.

Of all the horror games I have played, The Ring is the worst piece of crap I have ever had the tenacity to beat. That is not to say it is all bad, as you get to see a laser sight on guns a good 4 years before RE4, but there is not enough to make up for its overall shoddiness.

I haven't played The Ring but I'm curious if it's worse than Evil Dead: Hail to the King.
That game was bad, maybe one of the worst I've ever played. I didn't play for very long but the experience was pretty awful.

I have not gotten the chance to play the ring yet but i want to try it even if it is bad.
I can't see it being worse then hail to the king lol the thing about that game is i like the are's you can go to and being such an evil dead fan there's things i liove anout it but the fighting was so annoying!!

The other 2 fistful of boomsticks and regeneration were so much better.

I really liked alone in the dark although im still not done with that game but I was really impressed with the graphics and lighting effects my jaw dropped its one of the best looking horror dreamcast games I have seen.

Much better then alone in the dark 2 one eye jacks revenge but not as good as 3

I remembering playing D2 and being kinda annoyed with it but it looks pretty nice. Im a huge laura fan via D and enemy zero which were both fantastic games! I was hoping more a little more from D2 but i can't judge till I have finished the game
