IS there a console version to the lost world arcade game?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

I am constantly reminded of how much I miss this game. Are there at least any other rail shooters/light gun games that involve dinosaurs? haha

Jurassic Park? That game ate many a Chuck E. Cheese token back in the day.

Sadly, it didn't. It was a Sega Model 3 cab, though, so the only system it had a chance of being on was Dreamcast.

Looks like it was planned for a DC release and got canceled. :(
I wonder if there's a dev-image of it floating around out there. (Doesn't look like it) ... Buying the cab or emulation looks like your only bet. Though ... if you do emulate ... you can use the wii remotes to get some cheap light guns on PC.

(Ah, ExedExes already said this >_<)

Dino Stalker is for PS2 is another dinosaur light-gun shooter but it is in a free-roaming, first-person perspective though. It reminds me so much of The Lost World due to its presentation. I reccomend you to use the controller since many people said it is a pain playing the game with the GunCon 2. It's a decent game overall, but it 's a tad too short though IMO. Otherwise, it's the closest you can get to the Lost World arcade game :|

The local Magic Mountain has/had this and its been a few years since I went there. I would spend a few quarters on this every time I went there. Great arcade game. Sega is beast when it comes to arcade games.
It's time to kick a$$ and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of gum.

It should be possible to get a ROM online and run it through an emulator on the DC and probably code in the lightguns to work. I have no idea how to do that, but since I've seen plenty of online hacks, I'm sure someone out there could make it happen.

Anyone heard of Dino Strike for the Wii? It's an on rails dinosaur shooter. :)

It's not quite The Lost World but... it's sorta kinda close. haha

So the mall about an hour away from me has this game and it is unplayable. They really need to calibrate the guns. I refused to give it a second play that is how bad they were (the guns). :(

This is one reason most arcades went out of business, no one would fix anything.

And that there weren't enough customers to warrant fixing the machines and if you didn't fork over the dough to pay, you wouldn't get any new/keep your existing ones.
