IS there a console version to the lost world arcade game?

Post by Armymanis »

I've been searching for this game for 5+ years on console and can only find it at arcades. Is there a console version of this?

I wish! I've searched too and there are only games that have the same name but are indeed nothing like the arcade version. It's a damn shame. That game was freakin amazing and one of my favorite arcade games ever. If there's a way to play it on a console, I'd love to know. I know it was supposed to come out on the Dreamcast and it never did. Supposedly there's no way to emulate it on the Dreamcast but if it were possible that'd be awesome.

Short answer -- No.

Long answer -- Game on Model 3 hardware. Many of the games on that have never received home console ports.

So many memories of that game. By far my favorite arcade light gun game ever. The Dave & Busters here still has one I think.

I really wish it would get a console release for the Wii or something, but licensing issues likely gets in the way.

We should! I have been wanting this game to come out forever! It's definatly worth the $60 pickup on the first day of release! :)

I absolutely agree. I miss that game a lot. The skating rink around here had it but I haven't been there in yeeears, so I have no idea if it's still there. I've actually recently thought about going just to see and check out what else they have. I also remember playing House of the Dead 2 there back in the day. :D

The best you are going to get is emulating it on PC:
