Got through 2 of the bosses at Darm Tower (and had to level up to beat them)

Now on 17F after having to go back to 11F.
You weren't leveled out by the time you got to the tower? I hit the level cap before I was even in the mines I think...

I mean with a cap at level 10 there's really not much to it lol
I just needed 2 more levels. 22 did it in. Now I'm 27 (I think)

Turbo CD. Hope to get back to it tonight. Lots of voices too!

Ah cool. Your level carries through into Book II so don't expect to hit a cap. I believe I was around level 36 when I finished Book I.

Done!

I too was at L36. I still liked the voices in this game. Very well done. COOL transition into part II also.

Another fun trip on the TR train!

Next up: THPS2 -- got my DC copy and have not even touched it yet!

I found a copy of THPS2 for PS1 for 2$, so I'm all set for the next TR as well. :)

So.... uhhhh...... did anybody try part 2? I know it's technically not part of this month's TR but most us seemed to have it on the same CD/cart (the exception being the Master System people). Am I the only one who played it? :?

Just tryin' to keep this thread active. 8)

I played Ys I & II on the PSP late last year. I'd be happy to discuss II if you like. :D

I don't have a lot of gaming time, so I didn't want to play this again when I just beat it like 6 months ago.

Did you find the whole Palace of Solomon/underground sewers section of the game as frustrating as I did?

I didn't enjoy 1 enough to even bother with 2.
