I've played a lot of Sherlock Holmes for TG-CD. As well as It Came From The Desert.

Re: FMV Love
I haven't played 7th Guest or 11th Hour since they were first released, but I played Phantasmagoria 2 just a year or two ago and I thought it was great fun. It's like watching a late night horror show. It's cheesy, but fun. It controls like a point and click adventure. There are a few nonsensical puzzles that I needed a guide for, but I enjoyed the game from start to finish.kingmohd84 wrote:yes yes J T

Re: FMV Love
I've heard that the new Alan Wake DLC game has a considerable amount of FMV in it. Are there other examples of FMV-heavy games coming out recently?
Re: FMV Love
The biggest recent FMV release was Darkstar: The Interactive Movie (not to be confused with Darkstar One). It has cast members from Mystery Science Theatre 3000, though now they are the cheesy movie rather than the people making fun of it:
The Casebook Trilogy was another recent series of FMV games:
Command and Conquer 4 also has a lot of FMV cutscenes:

Re: FMV Love
Isn't it standalone? You don't need Alan Wake to play it right? I think there is a new FMV game that JT posted about before, I want to say it had 'Star' in the title.noiseredux wrote:I've heard that the new Alan Wake DLC game has a considerable amount of FMV in it. EDIT: ^ LOL, see I knew JT knew it.

Re: FMV Love
yes, American Nightmare is stand-alone. I'm sorry, I meant "DLC" as in "download only."
Re: FMV Love
Speaking of FMV Love ... Tex Murphy makers Big Finish Games is doing a Kickstarter to make another Tex Murphy game! http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/20/tex-m ... -proposal/

Re: FMV Love
Any idea will it be something like the Bright Falls movie? Real life actors rather than animated scenes during cut scenes, other than that, regular Alan Wake gameplay except in Arizonanoiseredux wrote:I've heard that the new Alan Wake DLC game has a considerable amount of FMV in it. Re: FMV Love
Darkstar was the FMV game that took forever to be released right?
I wonder how many people actually played it
