I am so far behind on everything game wise! I mean I am caught up on some games like I have played all of the halo games at least once so i pretty much know the story. I still have a lot of games to catch up on though. Come to think of it, Halo is the only series where i have really played consistently in the past 10 years. Once halo 2 multiplayer was introduced, I got sucked in and just kept my vision on the halo franchise and have been playing halo online matches consitently up until 2 years ago where i started moving to different franchises.

Let's just say I would like to play all the games from the franchises I have previously missed out on. I am a recovering halo addict as one might say in the gaming world.

That's sort of the beauty of taking the collector mindset with some games. You can just say, "it doesn't matter if I play it, I just wanted to own it."

Backlogs be damned

I'm never behind, because it's not really a race anymore to me.

Very excited to hit up more old PC games this year. GoG is insane.

If the only consoles you own are the ones in your sig, you'd have to be.
Here in my country finding a good working console it's pretty hard, or even the games, they wanna sell the games overpriced and a awfull condition.
That's the main reason why i sell my genesis, it wasn't working correctly and was having a hard time finding a good one, well there's allways ebay.
Which country do you live in? The idea of Genesis's being expensive is very strange to me.

I live in Paraguay. Not just genesis, allmost anything considered retro. The excuse from the seller is that "this is collection item" (not a excuse to sell me a Super Mario world for 20$) or something like that. Since here the piracy is big, finding "original" cartidges of a game can be a pain. I still find decent and good deals but there's a reseller there before i can get it. Now i thinking on just buying from ebay (genesis it's SO cheap  ) so i can get in my hands more good looking cartridges and more reliable.

Here this a regular snes in my country:

I've always had a habit of skipping console generations and then going back to them when they are past, or at least waiting quite awhile to jump in to them. That way there tends to be tons of cheap good games out to catch up with and the consoles are just hitting their stride at the time too. I got my ps3 last year which was a prefect time with so many games to catch up with and at the same time sequels coming out to some of the same games I just beat at the time.

It works for me I like it 8)
