Pink and Green glitches in Journey (PS3)
Re: Pink and Green glitches in Journey (PS3)
Another one bites the dust.

Well, it may be biting the dust or it may be overheating and on its way to biting the dust. If its just starting to exhibit this problem, it's possible that no lasting damage has been done to the GPU.
I'm leaning towards opening my 60gb model and cleaning the heatsink compound and replacing it, as simply idling at the XMB for a few moments will cause my fan to kick up a notch to the second faster speed.. Which is just silly.

Damn it I just tried to play some journey before bed and as soon the game loaded it kicked the fan on overdrive. Then after I quit and left it on the XMB for about 15 minutes the fan was still going just like ksloth just said. It sucks because I just replaced the blu ray drive in November or October. Well it had a good run I guess time to look for a slim.

I'm not planning to fix it. I have another PS3. I'm planning to get rid of this one most likely as I don't need it.

There's a limited number of the b/c units. We have to keep as many alive as possible.
