Mini games can be fun for a bit yes but they aren't reason I buy and play fighting games. My first game was in fact the PS1 port! I was suprised by the amount of content put into the game which was nice, but at the same time, the obvious shortcomings to the main product (animation cuts, effects removed, zoom effet removed, sight color degrade, LOADING) were too hard to ignore especially after playing it in the arcade. Fastforward about a year later and am treated to a near perfect translation on Dreamcast with no major downgrades and to my surprise, 2 seperate titles in one package (don't recall ads mentioning this). To me, Jojo's on DC is as equally awseome as having SFIII Double Impact... arcade perfect ports that are only available in such a form on the dreamcast (sans emulation). Lol! Now that I think about it, if capcom ported Warzard on the DC, it would have every CPSIII game under its belt :D
I can only imagine the PS1 couldn't nail down CPS-3 emulation as well as the DC port did. All I saw was the PS1 added a "Super Story Mode", not really much to be excited about there. At least the DC nailed it, like all the other Capcom ports. I guess what it is was I got too used to all the other stuff that Capcom put in their other ports, extra modes, point systems to unlock special features, etc. that I got too far away from the main point as you said. A perfect port of a fighting game.

Back to the original issue, why does it say VGA Compatible when it ISN'T? Not good!

Umm... Why do you have me quoted on a question that didn't even come from yours truly?

Anywho, yeah, It looks like they have still yet to learn from past mistakes. 360 version is SFxT doesn't have 2 player co-op scramble online even though the games manual says otherwise. VGA Issue with Jojo is pretty much the same shitty scenario :?
