Sorry for triple posting. How in the hell do I quote several people in one post?
I am indeed a mac user. Yes, it works perfectly with MAME OSX, although I haven't had the stick for a very long time and haven't tried every game. No drivers, just plug it in and set up the buttons.
I've been saving for it, perhaps a little too long, because they are out of print now. The last batch were sold out in March. It's too bad since the original price was just under 100USD (shipping costs a ton because it weighs 12 pounds). That is a awesome steal for the kind of stick this is. I don't believe they were ever available outside of Japan, but many online sites carried them.
They might make more, but usually sticks just go out of print forever. There's always a chance they might make another one for the next Virtua Fighter game next year or whenever it comes out.
I paid much more than the original price since I bought it after they were out of print and in high demand. I snatched it up from eBay...brand new, from a trusted seller that I have dealt with before. And make sure if you buy one that the box has a sticker over the barcode, and the underside of the base has a letter "M" inscribed in it, as there was an initial recall and these elements mark the new, tested version.
It is cheaper than the HRAP3 for some reason, and it was also cheaper than getting an arcade-in-a-box, or a custom job from a trusted independent maker.
I can already feel my DDP skills going to the next level...
