I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't complain if my Saturn was to spontaneously convert into a N64!

It's not bad because the N64 sucks, it's bad because Saturns are a lot more expensive.

No it's not; both systems are about the same price (USD$20) -- but the durability varies and the game-cost... well, sometimes rare is just outrageously expensive.

Holy crap guys! Hearing the story about leaving the Saturn on for a weeks reminds me when my friend who only had a saturn in 6th grade who was playing Resident Evil and the internal battery was dead and he couldn't find a memory card (or afford one as a 6th grader for that matter) so he left his Saturn on for half the school year trying to complete Resident Evil while we gave him tips on puzzles during recess. Thinking back to how much we struggled with those puzzles and overall being obsessed with the game during my 6th grade year. We made a huge RE comic I wish we I still had. Oh, and his Saturn was fine after being on for many months

Yeah, honestly, the only systems I'd really be concerned about leaving on for extended periods of time would be a Playstation 3 and an Xbox 360. They're really the only two (at least the only two that I know of) that use enough energy and put out enough heat to break (although I'd be careful with Atari Jaguar CDs just because they're so notoriously unreliable and next to impossible to find).
