Of course you can. You can stop using their service.
Except Sony's Playstation Network is amortized through hardware and software sales, thus consumers who had purchased a PS3 prior to the TOS terms changing has no remedy that Sony will see fiscally. They already have consumers' money. That solution isn't applicable in every situation; court action has done good to people throughout the years & though this issue might be small (it really, really is just video games), I support people fighting for their rights.

Edit: accidentally a word. Edit 2: fixed the lack of pluralization of consumer.

I was going to say how sensationalistic it sounded, then I noticed it's fox news.

Like the ending tough.

It's a bunch of bullshit. Lots of people will say, "Look, he's talented! If only he tried harder he'd have a job;" but more often, I'm willing to bet that he and people like him have tried applying to many jobs only to be turned down.

Why would you think that?

Because we're in an economic downturn still? Because I've seen many family and friends struggle to find new jobs after losing theirs? Because it's easier to say "Get a job" than to offer one? It's not like he never had a job before.

The tech sector is not under the same malaise as other aspects of the economy. A talented programmer should have no trouble finding a job.

That's the misleading thing about unemployment numbers. There are several job categories which are struggling to find people for positions even though we have high unemployment. This can be because of issues of qualification (I can't hire anyone off the street to write code) or people not applying for the jobs because they consider it beneith them (there was a story last summer about produce rotting on the vine since no one was signing up to work).

Lol, I totally saw that one coming. The conversation about immigration has always skirted the painfully obvious fact that the US needs immigrants to do that kind of work.

Speaking of Anonymous, or at least the Lulzsec offshoot, it came out that Sabu was an informant. Apparently he was arrested and agreed to turn to avoid doing time. This comes out right after it is reported that someone tricked potentially tens of thousands of Anons into downloading the Zeus Trojan, a program that steals back passwords.

Kind of a rough week for Internet vigilantes.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I'd argue that people need to stop having "standards" when they're unemployed. I suggest that before anyone can collect an unemployment check they first have to sing Styx's "Blue Collar Man", and maybe it'll sink in.
