Capcom's Seth Killian told Shacknews that the 12 extra characters in the Vita edition of Street Fighter X Tekken would eventually arrive on consoles. We just have one question: DLC or Ultimate Edition release?
"We'll find a way to make sure that console fans are happy, as well," Killian noted at last night's launch party in Los Angeles. Sadly, he wouldn't go into specifics on when or how the additional dozen would be added to the console version. The 12 characters in question are Street Fighter's Elena, Guy, Cody, Sakura, Dudley and Blanka, and Tekken's Alisa, Christie, Jack, Brian, Lars and Lei.

I had decided to get it at launch essentially to play against you folks online, but if the gems system is essentially going to break online play, then I am going to wait for a price drop. The news that the Vita version will have extra characters also gives me pause...and maybe I'll wait to see the cost for the Vita version vs. the cost for PS3 + Vita character DLC when the Vita port launches. In any case, too many red flags for me for now...
Sorry.

The PlayStation 3 version of Street Fighter X Tekken will offer, free, the bonus fighters Pac-Man and Mega Man on March 13, a week after the game's release, Capcom says.
They're talking about the button configuration being like Street Fighter IV's or KOF13's, where you're given a list of the buttons and have to press left and right to scroll through functions for them.flex wood wrote:dsheinem wrote:So I read this and decided to cancel my preorder: http://shoryuken.com/2011/10/23/why-str ... urnaments/

In this article they mention capcom screwing up button checks. I was just wondering if someone could explain what that means for me because I'm not figuring it out through google
