Guilty Gear Isuka (NTSC J) - $3.00 Swap Meet
An okay 2D Street Fighter style game with different characters and weird moves. Since it was a Japanese release at only three bucks, grabbed it. Disappointed it was not one of the exclusive to Japan Guilty Gear releases but still a great price.

Couple key features is a four player mode and a turn function. Unlike the quick turn on the Arcade Defender, somehow this doesn't feel right for a fighting game. Ah well another button to hit on the Arcade stick.

Two new game modes have also been added, first being a side-scrolling beat ‘em up mini-game a la Streets of Rage called Boost Mode, where players take one of the games characters and pound away on hordes of mindless thugs. The second new mode is a character-building, RPG-esque mode where characters take control of a robot that can slowly learn every move in the game. The robot learns moves by going through the beat ‘em up mini-game and collecting experience points which Advertisement can be spent on learning new moves. It’s fun slowly making the robot stronger, and the way it interprets the moves in the game is good for a chuckle, but ultimately the leveling process is very slow and time consuming.
PSX SCPH-5000 (NTSC J) - $5.00 Swap Meet
Seller wanted ten, talked him down to five for a dusty console with no cords. I have a Japanese 1000 with direct SVideo, 1001, 7501, 9001 and a smaller PSOne. I didn't even know there was a 5000 with what turns out to be the last in the series of direct RCA output. The reader wouldn't even play a CD music disc until I kicked up the laser slightly. No soundscope in the 5000, but still a nice colorful CD Player built in.

Weird how Japanese models do not have a polarized AC plug. Looky the 2 player link ports!
