What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Leave 'em. Why hide your interests? They are part of your personality. Better to be up front about who you are, what you like, and how you roll.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Come on guys? Seriously? Yes, people should be themselves, but you got to get a feel for how comfortable you can be around someone first before you let them see your pokemon bedsheets. Not the sort of thing that really screams maturity. How well do you know her? If you know her well enough to know that she's cool with that than go for it. I sure as hell wouldn't do something like that unless I was super comfortable with that person

Have to say though, that's one heck of a crush for someone to come from Boston to Milwaukee to see you. Good on you my friend

Yes, hide your real interests until you're sure she's cool with it, sound advice

There's a balance: you don't need to hide your interests but also shouldn't rub someone else's face in them, especially if you're not entirely sure what her interests are.

and especially if it might involve literally rubbing her face in it.

Well, unless your interests are the same as mine: Whip Cream and Butterscotch Pudding
