The thing with Shane is that he just comes off as such a jerk and the dangerous thing about him is that it starting to seem more and more like he's just going to do what he wants whether anyone likes it or not.

Also, team Shane is not looking so hot right now. You have a screw up who lost a key, which lead to one character getting left behind to be eaten by zombies. That same character accidentally lacerated his arm in one episode like a total klutz. T-Dog has been kind of useless so far. The other member of team Shane is a formerly suicidal, hot head, crazy blond who nearly killed Daryl because of her ego. If you want to talk about who are the most unstable, crazy, unreliable members of the group, just look at Shane and his pals

I'd rather stick with Rick, Glen, Daryl, Carl and Dale. Dale is smart, Daryl a good zombie killer and tracker, Glen is a perfect scout and Carl seems like a pretty level headed kid who is not bad with a gun. Course, I'm not really sure if we can call all of them Team Rick at the moment, but it was pretty clear last night that T-Dog and Andrea are definitely on Shane's side. I still don't like Lori, she's a handful that woman. Just look at the trouble she got herself into this week, or how she nearly got Glen and his girlfriend killed, not to mention the trouble she's stirred up with Shane

sadly this will be episode 2. It'll open with about 2 minutes of the shoot out. 5 minutes of the car and Lori moaning around hurt. Then 30 minutes back at the farm with someone wondering where Lori had gone, tending to fever girl. Glen's girl worrying. Shane wandering around and the Southern Hick getting it in with the short haired skank. Then 5 more minutes of the shoot out. Another couple of minutes at the car with some walkers approaching it. And that will be episode 2. i wish they would up the budget some.

This show does have some fast forward moments, but there´s a threat around every corner, that makes it exciting. Ep.8 was slower than average. Still, I liked it.
Damn, those 2 new gangsta kids, they went through so much and this is how they die? damn!
I think the Asian kid is the smartest. He should really be the leader. I hope this show will spawn 27 seasons.

Those two kids were so crap. I wanted to shoot them as soon as they walked in. They were obviously too into the "Hey man, where do live? Do you have women? Do you have food?". They would've fucked shit up if they hadn't died.

Also, I wonder if the Govener story arch will come through. It would be really interesting to see how they pulled it.

Bet those two kids would have joined up with Team Shane. They fit the personality type. Glad Rick put them down

The female characters are severely lacking. Lori goes and gets into a car accident why? There was ZERO reason for her to leave. Dikey hair has no personality. She just sits around being depressed. She barely even went out looking for her daughter. Andrea is an idiot.

The last 10 minutes were great though. We need more drama that could only occur in this world. The tension there was great.

Kind of agree with you there. Lori is always looking for something to fret over. Andrea is unstable and needs mental help. "Dikey Hair" as you put it is a bit useless, but I think she has the sort of personality you would expect from someone who was in an abusive relationship, so she gets a pass from me. I haven't completely warmed up to Glen's girlfriend. She comes off as the kind of girl who will get mad at you over the stupidest, most random thing. In other words, the female stereotype that comedians love to write jokes about. I would like to see some better female characters. I don't really love any of them so far. My fave characters are all dudes, like Rick, Glen, Dale and Daryl

I waS NOT expecting that, and man that was an awesome scene. My guess would've been that they leave the bar and eventually follow 'em to the farm.

Now THAT would have been the smart thing to do, but they didn't strike me as being all that bright.

This. She's just not sure how to react to everybody yet. I'm sure she spent a good chunk of her life walking around on eggshells because her husband could explode at any moment. Behavior like that isn't something that just goes away now that the husband is gone.
