Street Fighter as a whole. None of the characters really seem to play my style, and the series doesn't have anything to really define it- SC has its insane amount of specials, Tekken has limbs, KI has epic combos, etc, but SF... meh. Seeing how large of a following it has, multiplayer would be awesome if I liked the games, but unfortunately, I don't.

WipEout 3. I really love high speed racers - I love F-Zero, WipEout Pulse, etc.

What's sad is that W3 is perfect in every single way except one: The controls. The D-pad controls are awkward, unresponsive and cramped, while the analog control is way too sensitive, with absolutely no deadzones and veering off to the side if I use it to accelerate or soften a landing. So sad. I love the graphics, sound, music, gameplay ideas, difficulty curve, anything - but I can't play it because of the controls. I don't suck at these game either, I'm a real champ at F-Zero X ;)

Assassin's Creed series

Granted, I have only played the first and I hear the sequels are better, but I wasn't able to enjoy this one. It is awesome at first, but that quickly wore off. It has a cool premise and potential, but I didnt like the repetitive gameplay nor did I like the story and plot.

Katamari games

Quirky japanese game that I just can't get into.

Disgaea series, and other NISA SRPGs

I do like them, and I don't. Being a strategy/tactical RPG fan, this game should be a wet dream. And in some ways it is awesome. So much customization, so many characters, unlimited gameplay etc... I dont like some of the nonsensical (imo atleast) mechanics. I also dont like how loose it follows the story. I like extra content type of things, but I dont like how never ending it is. So many hours can be pumped into it with very low results it seems. So I get into it but then it eventually loses me down the stretch.

I keep trying to like it. I keep going back, but I just can't get past how sluggish it feels when compared to SF3.

^Yup! One of major issues for me as well. Also the game holds your hand way too much with super lenient inputs (that really messes up my game drastically). The game doesn't push the seires forward. It just commits to goin backwards for the sake accessability...

I agree and disagree. If that makes sense. I love Third Strike, and I'd all that my favorite Street Fighter now. But I think that going back to the playstyle of II was intentional. Yes, it is very n00b friendly, but I think that's the point. It's a bit of an invitation. It's sucking in a new generation. We can let the inevitable SF5 be harder core in the III/Alpha fashion. But it's the "come one, come all" fun of SF4 that makes it so damn great.

Whilst I have no opinion on Pushmo or Mutant Mudds, I have to say that I personally rather enjoyed Starship Patrol/Defense. I dunno if you like puzzle games, but the Art Style series are easily my favourite downloadable titles on Wii or DS.
I feel like Starship Patrol/Defense blows its wad very early. Once you are introduced to the basic enemy types and weapons, it just keeps re-using them level after level. Plus, I find that the fact that the reward for getting no SOS perfects in each stage and upping your rank is just your stupid, useless, robot sidekick getting cosmetic upgrades is rather lame and feels almost insulting to the player. I'm busting my butt just so that moron can get glowing eyes and a cooler looking transmitter? Also, you beat the game and get NO ENDING!? Lame

I am going to give the Art Style games a shot at some point.

I dislike Pushmo because it doesn't do anything I haven't seen before and it's another game that just keeps recycling the same thing over and over again. They could have cut out half the levels in that game and it wouldn't be any worse for it. Plus, it offers nothing to keep you interested. Crush on the PSP had cleverly placed collectibles in each stage that you could get in addition to solving the puzzle for beating the level and a cool, little story too. It even had enemies in some stages. Pushmo is just move some blocks around, grab kid. Next level. Move some blocks around, grab kid. Next level. Move some blocks around, grab kid. Yawn

Mutant Mudds is just a basic platform game than any hack who has ever played one could have designed. The fact that games like Pushmo and Mutant Mudds get a lot of attention is just indicative of the distinct lack of triple A games on the eshop. Sakura Samurai looks cool though, but I haven't sat down and played it yet
