Great. This dork is making Mac users look dumb. Word documents open in quick look, preview, and textedit. Unless he literally means he only has a "Mac" as in a Macintosh from 1990.

You'd be surprised what people still have running.

In the late 90s I knew someone that had a vintage 1986 breadbox Mac functioning as an internet gateway in a closet.

I'm not sure what that has to do with "running slow." Yes, it's a 13-14 year old OS, but as long as the computer specs are good enough to run it, the computer can be cleaned out and optimized to run Win98 just fine.

Still amusing that someone with such an outdated computer/OS would bring it in to stables for a tune up.

If the PC has Win98 on it, it probably has a 12 year old HDD in it as well
