The whole company takes broken cables repackages used cables (power, video etc) for video game consoles after they fix them when they are broken =\. Boy do I feel like a complete dumb@$$ . And yes Gamestop gave me Resistance for free because it was in the PS2 section UNDER the "Under $9.99" cart (I saw the edge sticking out from under) so it didnt show up in there inventory thus they couldnt charge me. Go ask you local Gamestop and they will say that they cant charge you for something they dont technically have.
I would but Gamestop doesn't exist where I live. I'm still calling bullshit. Don't care what you say. You could show me 'proof' 'til you're blue in the face, I still won't believe you.
Then look up a Gamestop number on the site and call a random one.
Have you even looked at my location? Right under where my display name is…

I'm hardly going to call international just to satisfy anyone on the internet am i? Be realistic…

And yes, Ireland is international, we have to dial 0033-xxxxx-xxxxxx to call Eire, Northern Ireland is different, but they don't have 'Gamestop' either.

From what I've seen GameStop's policies tend to make no damn sense at all, so this wouldn't surprise me. Although, all of their game SHOULD be gutted, with the disc up front in a locked drawer. So, they probably just look at the drawer-o'-discs for inventory...

My guess is his GS doesn't gut them.

Off topic: I understand why they and other stores do this for security while letting people pick up the boxes and look at them, but this is why I will NEVER buy another game from EB. Half the time they are scratched and I want to buy new games SEALED; why would I want a game when the seal of authenticity is broken (I'm thinking of MS's seals on 360 games). Technically they shouldn't even be selling it as new anymore.
