'no reason for a space channel 5 remake'

That's the whole trick about sequels isn't it? A delicate balance that is too often broken. There are only a few that work, and many that do destroy long-time fan's hopes (NiGHTS, I'm looking at you).

I would hope for another SC5 that does add a lot but still feels like it belongs in the series. If Mizu feels he REALLY has nothing to add, then that's fine. I think he COULD think of a few cool things, though. I'm hoping for something great from him, not another puzzle game (no matter how good).
