Nice. I would often gauge college girls on what they drove, and what condition the car was in. A used car in great shape always meant the girl appreciated what she had and wasn't spoiled or materialistic, and the chicks with a new Lexus that had fast food bags and who knows what scattered all over their car always raised a red flag.KDub wrote:For my closest friends I usually do a complicated fun handshake.
I have on several occasions used such handshake to flirt with the ladies. If there is some girl who hasn't hung with the group before and sees me an my buddy do the handshake I'll try and get her to do it. You can gauge a lot about the girl by doing this actually. If she looks at you like you're retarded she is probably a stick in the mud, if she gets a laugh out of it despite being lost and confused you might have yourself a winner.

Not a bad gauge at all.

Unfortunately an old tradition a friend and I used to share has returned: Sucker punching/kicking/smacking/tripping the crap out of each other.
Funny thing is that we're grown men (he's an assistant principal, which makes it even funnier) and we'll go Ray Amsley on each other in a grocery store. It's not seeking attention or mean spirited, but if someone leg sweeps you while you're carrying one of those hand carts at a grocery store, you have to admit you need to hit them back.
He and I aren't setting a good example for the kids.

Me and the group of friends call each other by nickname than our real name. It's a bit awkward when I roaming through the CD section at Best Buy and someone yells out "BEAR!".

My friends from high school still call me "Ortay".OldSchool_Boy wrote:Me and the group of friends call each other by nickname than our real name. It's a bit awkward when I roaming through the CD section at Best Buy and someone yells out "BEAR!".
More importantly, Best Buy still sells CD's?

My karate/jeet kune do friends have an agreement. If we see each other and it's not inappropriate, we can attack each other at any time and for no reason. Keeps things interesting

Staying on topic though, What does "Ortay" mean?
