Yea. My favorite iOS game from Cave is ESPgaluda II. Which is funny because I've still only played my 360 copy for about 10 minutes. The iOS version in iPhone/smartphone mode is just so much fun.dunpeal2064 wrote:Cave released Muchi Muchi Pork/Pink Sweets region free last year, which was later than esp2.brunoafh wrote:Sounds awesome, but I'm not gonna have the chance to play it for awhile assuming the theoretical 360 port is region locked, Cave said Espgaluda II Black was going to be their last region free game.
This is definitely an iOS/Windows mobile release of Dai Ou Jou, which is quite exciting. I really enjoy the straight shoit-and-dodge simplicity of DOJ (Not considering scoring) As much as I like Dai Fukkatsu (Ressurection), the bullet-cancelling really makes it feel different from the previous entries in the series, where as Dai Ou Jou feels like the peak of the original Dodonpachi style.
I wonder if they will make Black Label available, or perhaps even a cool new arrange mode.
Considering the iOS has had ports of Dodonpachi Dai Fukkatsu, Espgaluda II, Deathsmiles, and the just recently-released Mushihimesama (Bug Princess), its really great to see yet another awesome Cave game get ported to a device that is more likely to get new players into the genre.
Deathsmiles is tough with a touch screen because enemies come from both sides. Your figure is always blocking a portion of the screen. DFK and Mushihimesama don't really have any interesting touch screen features for me. ESPgaluda II is the only one that does which is what makes it the most fun for me.
