Yeah, it is pretty short. But...it requires some fairly precision moves towards the end, which were fine on a keyboard/mouse but I can't imagine them with being fun with a dualshock, especially for someone like you who doesn't really play FPSs...

You may need to build in some trial-error-frustration time to that estimate.

good to know. Still, I didn't realize it was such a short game.

On the same token, how long would I expect the first two Half-Lifes to run?

It's pretty good for the big name games, but I still think this thread would be more useful for older or more obscure games.

Portal 1 really had only a few puzzles like that (my first playthrough was on Intel GMA, and a trackpad...got for Christmas, and I didn't want to wait until I drove home to play it). I (begrudgingly) played Portal 2 on the PS3 initially, and the gamepad controls aren't all that cumbersome. Not as good as a mouse, but not as big a handicap as you'd think.

Portal 2 is a bit longer, perhaps double the playtime, depending.
