I'm not responding to this [insert slang here] beyond saying I'm not responding to this [insert slang here].
Exactly. You can't argue with me because you are completely wrong, and you know it. It's really a shame how close minded you are.
I find this humorous and ironic. I see you as one of the most close minded on the board as all of your opinions are 'facts' and you seemingly fail to acknowedge other angles of thought or belief that stray from your own.

I love being wrong. Please tell me what I am wrong about, and if you are right I will happily switch sides. I really am extremely open minded. I would even believe in God if there was proof.

Except that the things being discussed can't be 'proven' one way or the other. Thus arguing or discussing things with you is futile when you ask for proof on a subject when there is none to be found.
Issues like this touch on fundamental concepts of justice that affect every part of our lives. It's not suprising that these discussions branch out to other topics. But you're right, we could be a little more focused. To bring something more germane to the discussion, this is the face of indefinite detention:
I went on a hunger strike for two years because no one would tell me why I was being imprisoned. Twice each day my captors would shove a tube up my nose, down my throat and into my stomach so they could pour food into me. It was excruciating, but I was innocent and so I kept up my protest.
He was lucky enough to get his day in court... 7 years later. Those of you who argue for the NDAA are arguing for this mans ordeal to continue forever.
We are prepared to live in the plain and die in the plain!

Who has actually argued for indefinite detention? My memory of this clusterfuck if a thread is happily fading....

Can you list some examples of things that can't be proven one way or another? It doesn't always have to be proof. Sometimes a simple explanation can do the job. It depends on the topic.
Making a defense of Breetai here. You're making broad assumptions and calling him close-minded and ignorant because of religious beliefs, and slandering him saying he wants to kill all gays, despite the fact he's stated that he believes that gay marriage should be legal and he has gay friends. His "And. I. Am. Right." is mostly just mocking you and how you declare your opinion = fact, even on the most subjective of topics.
