I get kara throw moving you forward.. But there was a method in SF II where you could spam throw with a normal.. That's what I'm saying..

I really wanted to know how to kara cancel on SF2 lol!! Your example is still... dubious. Throws in fighting games by nature is an offensive oriented tool. Your wrong. It's the only way to break the opponents defenses! It's why, things like tick throwing is so effective! And it's there to aid you when you go for a mix up situation because if it was wasn't for throws, there would be no threat by bocking all day.

Holy shit read.. I didn't specifically mean Kara throwing in SF II I meant, teching or ticking.. It still was to gain a frame advantage so it's somewhat the same principle....

I never thought throwing was as versatile as RCing in CVS 2 is what I'm saying anyways so the same point applies.. Throwing is still a great defense mechanism IMO.. And half of the ways to use throws in SF II deals with countering..

Re: Help with KoF/SNK games
What are you talking about!? There is no frame advantage to be had from kara throwing! It's actually the opposite effect. You add more frames to your grab (you take the first active frames of your normal attack) and in return u get a throw with more range lol!

You usually use both in mixups though.. They are similar in that way.. And Kara throwing can be defensive as well.. Good for mind games as well.CD AGES wrote:What are you talking about!? And while it does add frames.. It's so quick you can't really tell the difference.. Kind of like RCing LOL!!!

Re: Help with KoF/SNK games
Lol! You gave me a link to Tick throwin??? That has absolutely whatsoever nothing in common with Kara throwing on Kara rolling and the principle Kara canceling in general!
Wait a sec!? Why do YOU think roll canceling is so effective?
