Either US or JP. Those can be found for $5-25 in Japan, and $25-50, give or take, for US versions if you look around enough. Includes boxes and usually instructions.Jontendo wrote:I'd like to find those AES games in that price range! That's rather encouraging then. Unless you mean the US variants go for that only in Japan. In which case there's just one more reason I'd like to visit Japan.Breetai wrote:Either US or JP. Make site-seeing your top priority in Japan. You can ONLY do that in Japan, where you can order games from Japan from your computer at home. Not for as cheap, of course, but it's not like it's impossible. Of course, do make Akihabara part of your day. Maybe with a visit to your hotel after in order to drop off any purchased goodies.

The whole imagery of falling cherry blossoms is what makes Japan seem like a distant dream world to me. I'd definitely want to check out some game shops, but I imagine they'd be way off to the side once I set my eyes on the country.Breetai wrote:I meant what I said.

You might find cheap consoles that way, though. $7 CIB Neo Geo CD systems and $30 Neo Geo AES systems with $5 CIB games are always nice.
Yeah, it would be awesome to visit someday...

Re: neo geo games on snes/genesis
I don't have a ps2. I want these on the genesis and snes because I love fighting games and I want to buy only 8 bit and 16 bit for 2012. I have a wii and a ps3 but my kids are always on it and I made my own little rero room for just classic consoles that I grew up on. Besides I remember loving those ports. Yeah I can get a ps2 because it's cheap but I dont want to do that that. I just want to stick with the 16 bit and 8 bit era this year.
By the way I looked into getting a neo geo and yeah if i was rich but hell with that. I can't afford the prices on those games
