It is two to three times harder than the 4th one. Those stupid blue demon things that run full speed toward you are all over dungeon 5. I tried using earth magic to freeze them but I keep running out of magic. The best advise it to stay in the water as much as you can to avoid them when attacking.

Hopefully tomorrow is the end of it.
I just started dungeon V and am thinking the same thing.
I am struggling with the combat, but since I blew through the first four dungeons with ease I am not giving up.

I'm amazed at your tenacity, dsheinem! For a guy who doesn't like Zelda-style games, you're kicking serious ass. I really need to catch up. But I mean, you're almost done with the game and it's not even a full week into the month!

It took me a while to complete with those blue things -- but the game, having realized it, built in an extra teleport space to give you a shortcut out from backtracking -- and an easier boss as well, just had to stay in the doorway

I tried avoiding the one-week clear myself!

I started this last night using the Xbox Megadrive compilation, man the controller sucks for the game but I am pushing through.

I got to the first dungeon and beat it without using any guides, then I got lost and frustrated trying to find the second, so I busted out a guide which I think I will be using form now on, I dont have the patience to explore this hard, when NPC's never seem to say anything productive.

I got up to second dungeon boss, died (as I walked into it with no health), went back to the start, I used the save feature of the compilation (save state) then turned it off.

Might try to beat the boss today.

Yikes. The game controls like shit, and I barely managed with a DualShock D-Pad. Best of luck with the atrocious 360 d-pad of shame.

I have found myself using the analog stick now. I wish I had one of those SFIV pads.
