I actually have a SMS and this game but I might play on the Genesis collection for convenience. I don't have a tube TV right now anyway.

Just got into it a little bit -- wow! Comparisons to Zelda are many But it's neat to see Golden Axe characters (and music) name-dropped in many places. Not bad, and it's been fun so far! Will go to 2nd dungeon tomorrow night Good choice to start the new year, community!

I was planning to play Ax Battler: Legend of Golden Axe on the side too. If Golden Axe Warrior is a Zelda 1 clone, Ax Battler is a Zelda 2 clone. Unfortunately, ax battler's not very good
