I think so. I vaguely remembering getting more keys than locks in some dungeons and having to use my stockpile in others, and I believe I also bought some extra keys.

I also believe that you don't really need to open up some of the locks, so that may have been why I had a stockpile.

Remember too, that you do not have to necessarily defeat all the enemies in the room for a door to open or for a key to appear. After clearing the room and nothing happens, always try pushing all the room torches or using the earth magic on the irregular looking-blocks. Helped me get a lot of extra keys in level 4 :D

I am pretty sure keys only appear when enemies are cleared in certain rooms...or if you buy them from a shop.

I found a key in the first dungeon by pushing a candle on the wall to open a room with enemies to kill for a key.

yeah, I have had no problem getting into those kinds of rooms. It is the key dropping seems to be inconsistent in the PS3 port, or else I am just insane.

so far, on the PS3 version, I've not encountered any key dropping issues. So not sure.

on to dungeon 9. I really don't care for this game, but I won't let it beat me. Can't see myself ever playing again, though. :(

Hopefully tomorrow is the end of it.

I just started dungeon V and am thinking the same thing.
I am struggling with the combat, but since I blew through the first four dungeons with ease I am not giving up.

Wow, I'm terrible at this game. I died like, 4 or 5 times just clearing the first dungeon (and one time trying to find it.) This could take awhile...
