I'll have to find this "long sword." Did you have to buy it or do you just find it somewhere?

The long sword will be found on "A5" on the overworld map I linked to. On screen A6, use your rope. In true Zelda fashion. however, you must have 7 hearts to get it. I want to be prepared for this epic 4th dungeon I'm doing -- TONIGHT!

The fourth dungeon was a bit harder than the previous ones overall, but having the right weapon helped. So did running the hell past everything on the way out.

try to chop down every tree. I found a couple (I think) in those secret stairs. I'm pretty sure if you go to the first dungeon, but down a couple screens along the water you'll find a staircase with a heart in it for one.

nope, I'm using Exed's map. It's got a key on the bottom that tells you where items are. Armor sounded like a really good idea to me.
