Re: Together Retro: Golden Axe Warrior
got to the 4th boss, but looks like I needed magic and was all out. Luckily, I found a save spot right outside the 4th dungeon so now I have the raft anyway.

on PS3? I didn't even know you could. I've just been saving at actual save spots.dsheinem wrote:not using save states?noiseredux wrote:got to the 4th boss, but looks like I needed magic and was all out. Luckily, I found a save spot right outside the 4th dungeon so now I have the raft anyway.
Other than using that map that Exed found, I'm trying to play as legit as I can. (Though I have had to check a FAQ to figure out why I couldn't proceed dungeon IV without magic, so yeah.)

yup, that genesis collection has a save states feature. it was great for SF, too. Hit select.noiseredux wrote:on PS3? I didn't even know you could. Okay!
After Dave publicly shammed me last year for not having a single Together Retro title included in the 64 games I finished last year I am about to go off and unlocked Golden Axe Warrior on the 360 version of the Mega Drive compilation.

Yeah that's definitely weak sauce, I couldn't believe it for a second there lol.ExedExes wrote:It's been a pretty easy journey for the most part, but UNLIKE Zelda, you gotta backtrack OUT of a completed dungeon......Xeogred wrote:Just started it up and found/beat the first dungeon in about 5-10 minutes.![]()
I had no idea this game was a Master System release up until I started playing it, haha. It sure looks damn impressive coming from that.

Yeah, I just finished the second dungeon too. I lost too many lives trying to take out the dragon with my axe, so I checked that site you posted and realized that I never got the projectile magic. Once I had that the dragon was pretty easy.dsheinem wrote:two crystals down
I'm done for the night and will try dungeon 3 tomorrow.
