It is awesome, been trying to get one ever since I passed up the chance to get one for $120. It came with composite cables, two six button controllers and 20-30 games including all the good ones, came with manuals but not boxes. The games included Rayman,Super burnout, AVP,cannon fodder,Iron soldier,Power Driver Rally,Pinball fantasies,Raiden,Tempest 2000,theme park,Ultra vortek, wolfenstein 3D, Zool 2,missile command 3D,NBA Jam, and some other not so good games. Probably should have gotten it at that price.

I have to say, I'm honestly impressed with the Jaguar. Tempest 2000 is absolutely stellar, but that's not my favorite game currently. Nope, that title goes to Power Drive Rally. This is as hidden of a gem as they get. Nothing on the Jaguar is exactly known well to the mainstream, but Power Drive Rally really deserves mention along side Tempest 2000. The game is basically DiRT, Colin McRae, or what have you in overhead 2D form. There are tons of tracks, variable surfaces that cause your car to handle differently, damage, and more. The game also sports some decent tunes and colourful graphics. The handling is spot on, it's an arcade game, but each surface feels unique.

It's not just straight up racing either. There are also awesome skill tests and special stages. However, the game is tough as nails. Luckily it has 3 save spots which you can use in between any event.

As for the actual hardware. The BE multi-cable works well, though the S-Video isn't quite as good as say the Saturn's. Hardware wise everything actually feels really well built, aside from the exposed circuitry on the back and the lack of a dust flap on the cart slot, I don't have much of an issue with the build. It certainly looks sleek and cool though.

The controller isn't nearly as bad as it's made out to be. It's much better than the N64 pad and several other pads IMO. Nothing is great on it though, everything is just decent. Ergonomically it actually fits my hands quite well though.

All in all. I'm impressed with the Jaguar. The only game I haven't had fun playing is CyberMorph. Currently I own:

CyberMorph
Iron Soldier
Missile Command 3D (has a weird bug and can't make it past the first wave in 3D mode, Virtual and classic work fine though)
Power Drive Rally
Tempest 2000
Wolfenstein 3D

Also... more games need Melt-O-Vision.
You purchased the system from Best Electronic? Still waiting on the guy from Ebay to ship mine, as I will give my feedback as well. But good to hear about the controller, has always scared the crap out of me lol

Yup. They shipped it parcel post but it still got here Tuesday. The controller isn't terrible, it's just not really all that good for anything.

If you have a thing for old FPS the Doom and Wolfenstein ports are very good. AVP doesn't look so hot anymore but I remember it being really cool for the time.

what would be a decent price on one. I already own all the Nintendo consoles and all the Sega consoles besides the Master system. Plus a Atari 7800,Atari 800XL, Atari Lynx, and a Neo Geo pocket color, Gameboy Advance SP. Thinking of selling my Sega Nomad. Here is one auction I am watching.

That's about what I'd pay for a used console. Remember, Best Electronics still has (some) new consoles. Apparently they're running out quickly though.

Thanks, I am slightly bothered by the fact it does not come with a original RF box though.

Why? It's just a standard RF plug like any Genesis or NES.

good point, just wondering but as you seem to be quick to respond. I was wondering what is the slim Version of the Neo Geo Pocket color worth. I found one on ebay still with all the original packaging for about 80 bucks. Is it worth it if I already own a Original Neo Geo Pocket color? Thanks for your time.
