Waiting for my master system cart to arrive in the mail. I'll be playing it on the power base converter.

What what? Cool! Might be worth a try if I get through this one real quick -- I just couldn't believe how Zelda like this game really is -- all the details are there!

you guys I was swinging my axe at an enemy in the forest, and took out a tree that was a secret gambling room! Pretty quick way to build up cash apparently.

I'll be playing on the PS3. Unlocked the game a few days ago, and I'll probably start in a few hours or after the Bulls game if I can't start before it. Looking forward to this one as I've never tried it before.

I was going to play it on the Genesis Collection for PS3, but Steam took all my money so I'm going to... emulate it. *dun dun duun*

Luckily I have this bit of kit to make it more enjoyable:

Okay I got my Master System all set up. The D-pad was driving me nuts so I switched to a Genesis controller along with a controller extension cord purchased from the racketboy store.

I'm really enjoying it so far. I just beat the first dungeon and got the axe.

Ryan: Those controllers are awesome. I have two of the white ones. They work on the PS3 as well.

Got the Genesis Collection and just unlocked this! I've always wanted to try out Golden Axe Warrior so I'm pretty excited.

I've already hit all nearly the "It's A Secret To Everybody" rooms. So there is also "Money Making Game"? Good to know. Will check a map
