I also have a huge problem with any 60fps game being emulated on anything but 60hz. Most people can't feel the jerky motion on 75 or 85hz, but I sure can. But I also hate the flicker on 60hz, so the only way I can win is by enabling double scan mode by sticking with 640x480 and forcing 120hz. That way the flicker is gone, and the motion is kept perfect. Still, there was something about the solid 60 frames per second in so many 16-bit games that I came to rely on and enjoy on a 480i display.
