Any Games You Enjoy Better On Emulation?
I think I like Mario Kart 64 better while playing on an emulator because I just recently played on my N64 and it was a lot harder. I also think I like playing WWF No Mercy better on my CPU because I played my friend at it yesterday on my N64 as well and I didn't play as good as I would if it were on my CPU.

Even the tiniest flaw in emulation can keep me from enjoying all the enhancements. For example, Einhander can look so freaking beautiful in ePSXe, but then you get to the stage with the water boss, and the water is messed up no matter what. Since that point, I cant tolerate playing it on anything but the real machine.
I also have a huge problem with any 60fps game being emulated on anything but 60hz. Most people can't feel the jerky motion on 75 or 85hz, but I sure can. But I also hate the flicker on 60hz, so the only way I can win is by enabling double scan mode by sticking with 640x480 and forcing 120hz. That way the flicker is gone, and the motion is kept perfect. Still, there was something about the solid 60 frames per second in so many 16-bit games that I came to rely on and enjoy on a 480i display.

I pretty much prefer and (re)play all my old console games on emulators. I love the versatility, save states, fast forward, graphical enhancements and texture packs, and so on. Then there's the mega-convenience factors of not having to use different controllers (my DualShock2 fits 'em all), swap CDs or cartridges, nor having to fuss about with cables to swap systems around on my TV or having to buy some type of RCA switch. Plus my TV is shit. I don't even watch DVDs on it, so I'm not about to game on it unless I absolutely have to.
Basically if an old game doesn't play on an emulator, or if there are glitches and rendering errors egregious enough to really irritate me when I'm playing it, I just don't bother with it. Fortunately all the games I've really wanted to replay from NES/SNES/PSOne have all seemed to work out fine for me thus far.

I pretty much enjoy all my old-school APG's (Adventure Progression Games. Seriously. who role plays in a console game?) much more emulated. The throttling to speed I can do to them ensures that the constant random battles don't get old nearly as fast.
What is a chan, but a miserable pile of memes? But enough lulz. Have at you!

Better looking
I really like how emulators make SNES, N64, and PS1 games look better, it is also a lot more convenient having your whole game connection at your fingertips.
