Collectors will buy there less, but good luck convincing the "just wanna play it" crowd to stay away. The Last Horseman wrote:We need to start a boycott immediatly. I will never buy from Gamestop again if they keep this crap up...
Is Gamestop punching holes in the game covers?

Gaaaah that pic is scary! Gamestop has the largest LOCAL selection of used games, a shame another form of destruction taking place. Instead of a boycott, another DIRECT Complaint Campaign may help. This has helped me in the past at my local Gamestops. The Direct Comment to the Gamestop Corporate link below gets action over just the survey. Be sure the District Manager block is checked to contact the customer for better results. Anyone who has a store that punches holes in games please take a few minutes and forward a sentence or two to Gamestop Corporate. The Last Horseman wrote:We need to start a boycott immediatly. Good thing I am already boycotting GameStop. With the exception of my Xenoblade pre order. Perhaps I should cancel that and order with Nintendo.
Re: Is Gamestop punching holes in the game covers?
that makes me sad. Speaking of CoE, I really wish it sold better. Being my game of the year and one of my all ime favorites, I want Q Entertainment to do well. I hope they are somehow turning a profit with their rather niche games because I love nearly all of them.JC48573 wrote:those are the exact same holes I saw for Child of Eden. I went to two stores looking for Child of Eden and both had the same problem. hmmmm.....bad move Gamestop.hashiriya1 wrote:Yep, they are doing it all right. Do you need a Move controller or other added peripherals to play CoE? I only have a regular PS3 controller.
It looked pretty nifty when it came out.

They destroy PS2 cases and manuals and now this. It wouldn't be so disturbing, if it weren't for the fact that so many copies end up in their hands at some point.
What do they gain from this? They got shelf space last time, but what do they get here?

Regular controller works fine. I prefer Kinect. Move is more accurate than Kinect. Controller is good too. the motion controls just feel more immersive to me.Opa Opa wrote:Do you need a Move controller or other added peripherals to play CoE? I only have a regular PS3 controller.

The game dropped in price so quickly that there is no reason not to get it.

Oh well, I guess this is the end of local game hunting. I pretty much got the games I want anyways, so I'm just going to buy new games from now on. You save so much more if you shop elsewhere. Sigh...I kinda want to cancel my Xenoblade preorder as well.
