Re: Sonic Generations
i played the first level and didn't hate it, which makes it better than almost every Sonic game after 1997.
Then I was greeted with a cutscene with Sonic and friends
Then they started talking
Then I realized I could skip it
So it has gotten off on the right foot, but the verdict will have to wait...

Re: Sonic Generations
oh yeah skipping cutscenes is a must. I'll be really surprised if you don't like this game Dave.
Re: Sonic Generations
I love the trepidation everyone feels going into this game. Almost everyone comes out loving it but we've all been burnt so many times...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I think I'm going to buy it for 360, since it is only $30. If I like it, I'm going for the 3ds port as well. Hopefully it will reignite my interest for sonic.

Re: Sonic Generations
If you can try before you buy on the 3DS port, I'd recommend that. It is definitely not cut from the same fabric as the console/PC version.swiftzx wrote:Flake wrote:I love the trepidation everyone feels going into this game. Looks like I'll pass then.

Re: Sonic Generations
so in level 2 I am hitting a bug that causes Sonic to continually sidestep while in forward-facing mode. Guess I'm waiting for a patch
Re: Sonic Generations
Are you touching the shoulder buttons at all? Those will cause him to side step to dodge columns and enemies while maintaining forward momentum. I have never heard of a bug that would do that.dsheinem wrote:so in level 2 I am hitting a bug that causes Sonic to continually sidestep while in forward-facing mode. Guess I'm waiting for a patch
