Re: Whats the meaning behind your avatar and or user name?
The 'vgmaster' part of my username means video game master. The 'cleveland' part comes from a long time ago when I was registering for another website. To keep your username from getting hacked, they had a long list of president names to add to your username. For no reason I chose Cleveland. The name just stuck with me.
My avatar comes from the Sega Genesis ads for "Genesis does what Nintendon't". The Sega Genesis is my favorite console of all time, and I love those commercials.

This current avatar is from the Ricky Gervais Show.
Various names:
RyaNtheSlayA -idk, I was 13 or 14 and the name's stupid as shit. I hate it but, I'm also stuck with it here.
Pvt. Ryan -self explanatory, don't use this anymore
QirexRT -Qirex is my favorite team in the Wipeout games, RT are my initials. It's a bit annoying in online games when the 13 year olds start calling me "queer-ex" and "hey queermo". Got tiresome and thus:
GoldfishRT -This one's new, and I like it a lot. It came from Terraria the other night when my friend had a hilarious encounter with a Corrupted Goldfish... twice...
but lost all our gold in the process.

It's the kind of name that seems like a great XBL username when one is 13 so that he can seem cool and mature.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:This current avatar is from the Ricky Gervais Show.

I'm not too happy with the usernames I picked at that age either. I always used the initial of my first name attached to my last name. Boooring!

So it's not just me!!! I always thought it was a pixelated video game character, like a wizard with a yellow pointy hat.gtmtnbiker wrote:I never looked at it that closely so I thought it was some sort of video game alien picture. Guilty! Always thought it was game related too. Too small to see properly.BoneSnapDeez wrote:So it's not just me!!! Btw I don't think you ever said what your avatar was. I have no ideagtmtnbiker wrote:o.pwuaioc wrote: Guilty! Always thought it was game related too. My last name is Harper and it sounds a lot cooler than my first name which is Brittany. People in high school would literally call me "BrittanyHarper" (as if it were one word) so if they had to call me from across the hall or something the trillions of other Brittany's wouldn't be confused and think they mean them. haha
Don't have an avatar because I guess I'm too lazy to try to find something that would be cool and express myself the way I'd want it to. Been trying to think of what I could use though.
I would be willing to consider this because it is quite hilarious and I got it from a real ad in a sale paper:

Re: Whats the meaning behind your avatar and or user name?
Avatar - I forget where I found it, but it's a Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) reference between Sonic and his roboticized form "Mecha Sonic". It implies a dual/split personality, but the character is one and the same and the relationship is never explored.

My username starts out as a MMORPG nick by the name of DeLorean. Being a stainless steel wonder, my Lord Knight clad in armor was given the same name. I'd later throw the nickname onto a RAcast (Gunner+Cast=RAcast) from the de funct MMO 'Phantasy Star Online'. DeLorean sounds weird on RAcast, so I opted for Rev Z, another car reference.
Going with the car theme it was Radial Z (radial tire). Z being a robot and Megaman X reference (X=Single Letter, Z = Zero) serves as inspiration for Radical Maverick, again being a Megaman reference (Maverick or Irregular). Radical Maverick sounds weird and is a bit redundant, so it becomes Radical Manik (Manic=Sonic's brother from Sonic Underground). Manik is normally seen as something edgy, but it's also the name of a type of depression. I'm not exactly suicidal or depressed and I don't want people to get the wrong idea, so the name is scrapped altogether in favor of Lancer, a one shot pen name for a website. Lanzar comes into existence as an edgier version to sign rants. Lanzar eventually sticks and becomes Radical Lanzar.
As a coincidence, Lanzar is a type of stereo equipment (for your car) and Lancer is a sports sedan by Mitsubishi Motors. As to whether this has anything to do with Eternal Engine from Sonic Adventure 2 and Tails's battle mech has yet to be seen. I'm also pretty certain that Irregular Manik was on the drawing board, but again, that sounds weird; it wasn't used and switched over in favor of Radical Manik.
