Anyone else tired of stupid game titles?

I'm drawing a blank -- what's the second game that's simply called Resident Evil?

The GC one.

It's different enough to just be a different game. And fwiw it's the canon version of the game now. Director's Cut just kind of exist on its own. But, at least they didn't forget about it, releasing it on DS 4 years after the new canon version

off topic a bit, but how do you feel about RE Gaiden? I always thought that game was awesome.

It's interesting. The one thing about it is that Barry kinda got the short end of the stick. Capcom uses the main characters from Resident Evil 1 and 2 as the stars of the new games even to this day, that hasn't changed yet. It's always either Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire and then Rebecca got her own game. Well Barry got his own game all right...on the GBC of all places, lol.

They had another GBC game in the works even before Gaiden, a port of the original:



Gaiden's setting has kind of been used over and over now. It was on a boat. Well the used a boat in Dead Aim and now in Revelations again.

I don't really understand what's "stupid" about these. They aren't particularly confusing. It only takes a visit to wikipedia to find out the order of the games and if, in fact, that particular games are canon or not.

I think it's silly that Resident Evil Code: Veronica is the 4th game, but then a game released a couple games later called Resident Evil 4. I'm just poking fun at the whole thing
