True story (really):
About a year ago, I had a small lump on my scrotum. I told my Grandma about it and asked if she wanted to see. She said yes, so I striped and showed her. I even asked her to touch it, and also to compare it with the normal part of my scrotum, which she did. There is nothing wrong about doing this. *shrugs*

I suppose that's your business, but what would be the point be of giving someone who, under my presumptions since you never mentioned it in the context of the story, was not trained or did not have experience with dermatological issues? (Other than a "you really wanna know" cocky response.)

Well, it may be because I'm an anal English bugger, but unless you fail at using an adequate amount of adjectives, then you don't need to show it. If you want me to see it, then I don't need to hear your bonus commentary track. If you fail at both presentation and explanation, I can only hope the doctor can diagnose the lump on your neck.

Now, if your vocal chords were shredded and you needed to communicate with a specialist, then yes, asking for an intermediary to explain the tactile sensations of any irregularity is a requirement.
