that's about average price for such a bundle. I've seen those 2 games with rod for about the same elsewhere -- though I don't know if the rod was boxed.

i remember renting this fishing game as a kid on the n64 and it was soo addicting man i wish i knew the name of it all i remember is you could troll around on your boat and there was lake okachobee(cant spell) in florida

Sega Bass Fishing 2 is a much harder game than Sega Bass Fishing. I played for 3-4 hours in an afternoon once and didn't catch anything. For serious anglers only.

I hear SBF2 was more of a true sim (think Black Bass series) than arcade-styled. I love SBF1 and SMF (if only for all the sweet items in the Original Mode!)

Anybody with opinions on Natsume's Reel Fishing Wild (for DC)?

I do sometimes. My favorite fishing game is Reel Fishing II for PSX. IMO, it's the most realistic fishing game there is since there is over 70 species of fish, 500 kinds of tackle you can costumize, 18 locations, and you are even restricted to fish in some areas due to season closings. Not to mention, the soundtrack is just plain "beautiful"-the peaceful music, the water's ripple, and the nature sounds. I still enjoy breaking my record catches in this game and my biggest catch in the game is a 16 foot, 1071 pound Blue Marlin (wish I can catch one that big in real life )

In addition, my favorite "action-packed" fishing game is Sega Marine Fishing for Sega Dreamcast. This game never seem to get old and I still have terrific memories about catching 300+ pound Blue Marlin (which is the biggest they can get in the game). The music also makes the battles even more EPIC besides the hard tugs ans jumps when you hook a 200+ pound Sailfish, Tarpon, amd Blue Marlin.

I've been a fisherman for over a decade now (I mostly go after bass, trout, and catfish on artificial lures) so these two fishing games are the only ones I enjoy from the genre, since most of the ones I played never live up to the "real" fishing.

Not to mention the Network Mode, where everyone can chat someone by catching fish. I also love the Fight Training mode in Mini Games since I can practice how to land some of those hard hitting 200+ pound fish (Dogtooth Tuna, Amberjack, Marlin, etc.) without breaking the line.
