Open PS2 Loader can also be used to stream games to a slim VIA an SMB share from your PC.. That's how i have been using it.

you can, but the compatibility is no where near as good as using an internal HD (HD is much faster) and cut scenes are bound to stutter when using SMB. Though it's better then using USB from what I've heard so it's the better option if your using a slim.

I haven't had any problems to speak of... other then loading screens are a tiny bit longer.

Bigger library, more exclusives, more fingers in ears, general antipathy towards "Micro$oft" while thinking that Nintendo is for kids...

Get a phat PS2. Reasons:

1. It's compatible with more titles than the slims.
2. Nostalgia value.
3. The HDD (if you're into that sort of thing).
4. It looks absolutely boss.
