I spoke with him a couple years ago about the Internet Radio Bill and gave him a sound argument on why they should not be charged the way they wanted it to be. His response was "just use a normal radio." When I asked him to find me a radio station in the Southeast that plays Gaelic music all day he told me to "get a normal taste in music." At that point I started giving more to the EFF.
While you're right about the bill being terrible, he's right about your taste in music.

Okay, can someone merge these together?

Anyway, yeah. I watched/listened to a large portion of the over 12 hours it took. Basically, the representatives clearly against SOPA:

Darrell Issa (R-CA)
Jason Chaffetz (R-UT)
Zoe Lofgren (D-CA)
Jared Polis (D-CO)

These are today's heroes of the internet. And I hope they continue to fight the good fight, because we'll need every bit of their help in killing this bill.

Anytime there is a proposed law relating to the Internet, there should be a basic "Internet Proficiency Test" each representative must pass before being permitted to vote on the law. How many of these people do not even use the Internet for anything but email at work? How many do not even use it that much?

Notice how they're equally distributed among both parties. Voting Democrat appears to be exactly as bad as voting Republican. Remember this next election.

Unfortunately, as we can see from the SOPA proceedings we don't have a two party system. We have one party with two branches.

Indeed. It just sickens me that we are set up to pretty much not even allow another party in the door. It's ridiculously difficult to even get on the ballot if you're not a lead Dem/Repub candidate.
