Anyone switching to a credit union with what's going on?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I could say something inflammatory about liberals if that would steer the thread in a better direction.
You never let us down, MrPopo. On the other hand, so long as someone shows respect to others, I will respect them, but I neither expect others to respect my beliefs nor should I be required to respect everyone's belief. On the extreme end (although I don't think anyone here even comes close to such atrocious beliefs), no one should be expected to respect child sacrifice. But what about FGM practiced by many Muslims in North Africa and Southwest Asia? Where do we draw the line?

Ultimately, everyone here should feel free to state their beliefs without getting disrespect for it (yes, even Inazuma, which I'm often disappointed to see him attacked merely for stating a belief), but no belief in and of itself should be outside the topic of conversation. After all, don't we all want to know the truth?

I don't think it's inazumas beliefs so much as it is delivery and the way he tries to insult and condescend while stating those beliefs...

Here, I'll try to re-rail this thread: Yes I am switching to a CU. I already have a savings account at BECU and I just last month got charged a convenience fee of $6.95 and an online monthly fee of $3.95 on my personal account. I just keep my "allowance" there which is only $100 a month, so $11 in fees is 10% of my take home. Screw that.

Personal account at a bank and not BECU, right?

Oops yes, I was trying to say I already have a savings account at BECU so switching my checking account over is not a big deal. I currently have US Bank for my personal checking account.

Depends. If I am talking about facts, then of course I will act like they are facts. Makes sense, right? If I am talking about a matter of opinions of beliefs, you won't see me acting disrespectful to people who think otherwise.

I'm all about the truth and doing what's best. Some things have a solid truth and some things don't. What's the best tasting ice cream flavor or the most fun video game? There are no facts, only opinions. What's true for you is the correct answer here.

Is God real or not? Well, he is either real or he isn't. It has to be one or the other. People can choose to believe whatever they want, but one of these possibilities is true and the other is false. There is no way around this.

Too many people don't understand the difference between facts, opinions and beliefs.

That's unfortunate.
And....it took 2 posts, apparently. Wow, sad.

(2)Why should I respect your beliefs? I respect you but your beliefs can go to hell.

(3)It's important to remember that your beliefs directly disrepec and insulting the beliefs of millions of Jews and Muslims in the world! Why would I respect your beliefs they don't respect other's beliefs?
(1) - Well, that's beneficial. Going out of one's way to be negative is commendable now?
(2) - Wow. Again, sad.
(3) - ? I mean ?? - With respect, you should get your information from texts and legitimate news sources, not George Clooney movies. You are inferring that everyone who is religious is thus intolerant? That is so obtuse - have you read Quran? The New Testament? Bhagavad Gita? Dhammapada? Where does it suggest the intolerance you spew as fact. That sort of ignorance is dangerous and inciteful.

See Flake / O.pwuioac - mentioning that you might have a stance based upon a religious conviction is too much for some folks too handle - and as seen, it is attacked on uninformed bias, not fact, as usual. Simply sad.
