awesome, but he needs 10 channels on the saturn. 2 is fine for nes-psx. 4 for 64.

That's amazing. BOOKMARKED! He said he'll release the schematics and hex files, I'm gonna have to keep an eye out for that. I'd love to build one or two for myself!

Why not just console > SNES controller?
No wireless. Though with that link to the Universal Wireless controller form the ModFactory...

Now THAT is a universal controller (once all the ports are made) -- and YES to 10 channels!
But I must also add that the PSx also had 4-player (and AFAIK, Warlords of Lunar was 8 player) games.
The NES (and SNES) definitely had their share of 4P games, Bomberman being the most well known.
The SEGA Genesis had 4P games. (Pete Sampras had 2 controller ports built into the game cart!)

Except that the NES only has one wire coming out of it
Why wouldn't the NES have only one wire coming out of it?
(The YT video on the site currently only shows the Wii-mote being used -- and a bulky blue box -- fine for a 4-button NES, but does not show if if the firmware will accept Wii-mote add-on controllers)

Because this isn't an Atari 5200. I'm 99.99% sure that the NES has seperate cables for power and video/audio.

Ah, the wires in the back of the console. For some reason I was focusing on the controller ports.

@ 0:25, you can see the back of the NES has a white cable and a black cable; one is the AC adapter and one is the RF adapter. No idea why they aren't using the composite-out on the side of the NES though. (The SNES is sitting flush to the NES' right, the side IIRC of the NES composite-out.)

Awesome! Am I the only one who enjoys the indented NTSC X/Y buttons?

It's weird, but I thought more people would.
+1 for tactile feedback!
