AwesomeController -- Bluetooth for your NES/SNES

Saw this over at another board and thought they were a cool idea.

Awesome Controller looks to be a startup project that bridges the gap between Wiimote/PS3 controller and NES/SNES. If there is no loss, who else is in agreement that it would be an awesome controller?

(On a side note, searching for "awesomecontroller" yielded a "search term too common" here... though that may be the default message as the term was 17-characters long.)

In theory, this is a bluetooth wireless SNES controller. Granted you need a Wiimote and that expensive Club Nintendo SNES controller add-on...

So... console > awesomecontroller adapter > Wiimote > adapter > SNES controller? Why not just console > SNES controller?

Awesome controller looks awesome though. At least it can live up to it's name. I opt to only use 1rst party controllers, so I wouldn't be too interested. But being able to use a PS3 controller with SNES is an awesome thing. The guy mentions wanting to make it because all his N64 Joysticks are busted... will there be button mapping for that though? Didn't see any mention of that. Not a whole lot of info on his site.

Oh crap, now I'm thinking about getting the NES/Genesis/N64 to Gamecube adaptors for all the emulation availabe in Gamecube SDBoot. Thanks a lot for making me stay awake tonight.
