I was never all that artistic, my creations were usually tall buildings, lol. There was a Castle set and a Pirate Ship set (nothing licensed, though), so we weren't completely on our own. But I never got those.

The Castle sets! Remember the Robin Hood-esque forest bandits?

I always wanted to make the Star Wars Star Destroyer. It was like 4 or 5 feet long and (quite literally) thousands of pieces.

Oh hell yeah.

I still have a bunch of Legos that were given to me by relatives when I was little, like some of the Dragon Knight stuff and the old pirate/war guys. Now I kind of want to pull them out and build things. I had the dragon in a cage transported by some knights and a little Wizard in a grotto thing that I thought were just awesome.

The kids at the school I work for never stop talking about Legos, but they only seem to care about the newer Star Wars sets.

Anybody know of this giant white spaceship set that was like $90-100+? I remember getting that for one Christmas I think, trying to find a picture of it. It was enormous and the two wings could bend downward or be locked in place straight across.

Well we've certainly veered off the main point I was trying to make  I was hoping to complement my Lego pirates set with this behemoth of a ship but decided that it's simply too much even for a geek like me

You're thinking of the big Explorian starship.

Yes!

EDIT: See samsonlonghair's image above, heh.

Oh man, that thing was a beast. Definitely more of a display case kind of set, it was so fragile to play with haha.

True that. The heavier spaceships fell apart while you were playing with them.
